Does Prof G have street cred? #NewsSpeak #MSBlog
“At ECTRIMS to get into the mood I wore my 2012 marathon racers to show my support for Multiple Sclerosis Society and to raise awareness about MS. My running shoes were designed to reflect the colours of the MS Society, and other MS stakeholders, who have branded themselves black-and-orange. The latter includes our MS policy document on ‘Brain Health: time matters in multiple sclerosis’. I thought I was doing something worthwhile, but my colleagues ‘took the piss out of me’ in true British tradition. They said I had lost all street cred! What do you think? Is wearing MS branded racers worse than taking a luxury limousine between meetings?”
Does Prof G have street cred?…If he is asking this question…we know the answer already:-)p.s. Have you seen the V-necked T shirts too? 🙂 looks like a judge on X factor;-)
p.p.s. The Judge for X factor rides in a limo too….If profG really a Simon Cowell stalker?:-)Piss taken 🙂
Those shoes look very clean, were they actually used:-)
hahahha… i'm not sure how this correlates, but orange is also the colour of the self harming awareness…………
Only people with herd mentality and who lack imagination care about street cred and image.
People who care about their image…..So most of the world then:-)
So true, so true. 😉
There is caring about one's image in a genuine, cerebral sense, by way of considering actions, philosophies and treatment of others. This would include altruism, being sociably clean, and not having an alarming personal odour, or displaying one's genitals inappropriately. Then there is the kind of image consciousness which is concerned only with the acquisition or display of wealth, quite possibly involving socio-psycopathy. Bankers and many pop stars fall into this latter category. By wearing gaudy and lurid trainers in support of the MS Society, Prof. G. was clearly demonstrating the first – and highly laudable – type of image consciousness.
Glad to hear ProfG covers his genitals in public:-)…but those running shorts give plenty of air flow down there:-)
p.s. Taking the michael:-)
I liked that pair of running shoes … Fashion…
At least they wouldn't lose him at night with those laces.
Those are shoes are pretty fly Dr. G.
Love you Prof G – put your money (and your feet) where you mouth is!
