MS – the big knit

If you are attending the Cheltenham Science Festival please lookout out for “MS – the big knit”. This is a MS public engagement science initiative that has been started by Alison Thomson in our group.

Any guesses what these images represent?

  1. I think the first two images represent demyelination. Don't know about the third image's symbolism.

  2. The first one is condensation/packing of DNA: helix -> histones -> chromosomes. The second looks like plant stomata, or possibly wound-healing.The third… animal testing of anti-virals?
