MS Roadshow – Basildon, 30th Sept 2013

Annual MS Roadshow season. #MSBlog #MSResearch

“We group start our annual round of MS Roadshows this weekend and next week. MouseDoctor will be speaking in South London and Prof Gold and I at the MS Chilterns Centre on Saturday. We then go to Basildon on Monday night, followed by Southend the following Monday. If this is the first you have heard of these events please contact your local MS nurse specialists for more details. The purpose of thee regional meetings is for us to meet MSers and  to update you on our research and to ask you to help us. Most of our research needs volunteers.”

  1. Just come back from a talk by Prof Gold and Prof Giovannini – brilliant and so imformative, I realy believe there IS hope.Thank you for sharing this with us.

    1. I doubt it, I have been telling ProG to get a recorder to make sense of his slides. We have a USB wireless version we use for teaching but it needs to be a stand alone digital as in most talks the computer is no where near the talk. The group that I saw had a 3cm x 3cmUSB beamer very ingenious.

    2. Is it possible to do something simple like record the talks on video using an inexpensive camcorder or mobile phone, and upload to youtube? Doesn't have to look professional. I know you don't have the time to record every presentation that Team G makes, but talks like the one referenced above would be wonderful to be able to see, if it's not too much trouble. Thanks!

    3. you still need good sound even if the picture quality is not that great otherwise it is rubbishbut maybe G will get camcorder
